Help Trellis Splash it Forward!
The Splash of Red Gala is an annual fundraiser for youth healing beyond their experiences of homelessness, trauma and exploitation.
Over the last 15 years the Splash of Red committee have raised more than $5 Million dollars for Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary programs, helping youth like Shawntel grow up healthy and thrive. In March of this year, when the pandemic hit, the committee knew that even more youth would be needing our help and so they reimagined Splash of Red to Splash it Forward 2020. There may not be a grand gala this year, but you are invited to make a donation, invite friends and family to do the same, or host small personal fundraising initiatives. Every donation to Splash it Forward is being generously matched.
Thank you to all our difference makers!
Thank you for attending Splash of Red in 2019! Together we celebrated Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary and their continued dedication to vulnerable youth and children, and together we raised more than $750,000!
Because of your generous support, there are 5,721 children and youth whose lives hold greater promise this year. Among them, 511 were specifically supported to move beyond their experiences of homelessness, exploitation and trauma. Thank you.
Due to ongoing pandemic concerns and government restrictions limiting mass gatherings, the 2020 Splash of Red gala has been postponed until 2021. Instead of hosting a single event on Saturday, October 24, we’ve created Splash it Forward, a challenge to you and your community to make a real splash for vulnerable youth and families by making a meaningful donation or participate in an activity or event.
We need your help to make an impact this year.
The Splash of Red Gala is the organization’s largest annual fundraising event and is pivotal to fulfilling our mission. We are so very grateful to you, our many valued sponsors, donors, supporters and friends who have generously participated in Splash of Red for these last 14 years. We know that together, we can continue to make a meaningful Splash for vulnerable youth and children again this year!
Please contact Riley Fisher, Special Events Officer, if you would like more information on how to help us Splash it Forward.
We wish you and your loved ones’ good health and strength in the days and weeks ahead. Stay safe and stay connected.
